Frequently Asked Questions

At Nadia Islam Studio, we take great care in preparing every order to ensure that your artwork arrives safely and in perfect condition. Unframed giclée prints are packaged according to their size. Smaller prints up to A3 size are shipped flat in a rigid protective envelope with additional backing to prevent bending during transit. Larger prints are carefully wrapped in protective tissue and rolled into a sturdy postal tube to avoid creasing. Framed artworks receive extra protection. Each framed piece is wrapped in acid-free tissue and cushioning, with protective corner guards to safeguard the frame. The artwork is then securely packed inside a reinforced box designed to protect it during delivery. All orders are professionally printed, packaged, and fulfilled to museum-quality standards to ensure your artwork arrives safely and is ready to be enjoyed
Nadia Islam Studio creates handcrafted fine art inspired by Islamic geometry, emphasising sacred symmetry, mindfulness, and divine order. Each piece begins with a meticulously hand-drawn exploration of geometric structures, often incorporating flowing floral motifs that soften the composition and evoke harmony, movement, and quiet contemplation. Rooted in traditional geometric principles, the work is produced with patience and intention, aiming to bring calm and balance into modern spaces.
The original artwork, hand-drawn by Nadia Islam, is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece. The artwork available in the store is offered as a museum-quality Giclée reproduction, created from a high-resolution digital capture of the original work. This process preserves the intricate details and precision of the original drawing, making the artwork accessible to collectors and homes around the world.

Giclée is a high-quality printing technique commonly employed by galleries and fine art institutions. It uses specialised archival pigment inks along with advanced high-resolution printing technology to replicate artwork with remarkable accuracy and detail. This method yields a rich tonal range, sharp line work, and colour stability that can endure for many years.
Each piece is created using archival pigment inks, which ensure exceptional colour depth and longevity, and is printed on museum-quality Hahnemühle German Etching fine art paper. We utilise high-resolution Giclée printing technology for these prints. Hahnemühle German Etching paper is highly regarded in the fine art community for its weight, texture, and durability, making it ideal for preserving intricate details and subtle tonal variations.
The artwork is produced using archival pigment inks specifically designed for longevity. When displayed under normal indoor conditions and away from direct sunlight, the colours are designed to remain stable and vibrant for many years. These materials are commonly used for museum quality reproductions intended to last for generations.
Framing is available as an option when selecting your artwork.
